Education: School

I attended Blackrock College for all my secondary education, and Willow Park Primary school from 2nd Class. While attending Blackrock College I played on the underage rugby team as I was a year younger than most members of my school year. I also played on the squash team, partaking in various regional tournaments. A member of the debating society, I practiced my presentation skills from a young age.

As part of transition year in Blackrock College students are encouraged to take part in a number of volunteer programmes. I volunteered in a home for the elderly, attending one day a week for a term of school.

I sat my Leaving Certificate examinations in the summer of 1999, earning 4 A1s in higher class subjects, and achieving 555 points out of the maximum 600.
